For he that is entered into His rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from his. Ephesians 2:8-10 by grace you are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:22 In whom you also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. Ephesians 5:30 He has taken us into Himself through the Cross, so that we are now flesh of His flesh and bone of His bones Ephesians 5:31,32 ... (of a man and his wife) ... they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

For if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that. So there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God
